Year 4 Moorland Hall Residential 2018

We left London in very light traffic and cruised down the motorway in perfect sunshine. After a quick stop and snack along the way we arrived in time to enjoy a picnic lunch and some free play in the amazing Moorland Hall grounds. We couldn’t have hoped for an easier journey!

The wind and rain that we hoped to leave behind in Kew followed us all the way to Norfolk, however the children didn't let it dampen their spirits on the first day! Shortly after arriving and 'unpacking', they were playing trust games and learning how to use the harnesses and ropes during the activities for the rest of the week.

Gardener School's joint orchestra day

Singing in the cold!

Kew Sparkle

On Friday, 1st December, many of our children and parents took part in Kew Sparkle, the annual Christmas market in Kew Village. We began with a sing-along rehearsal in the hall, which was followed by mince pies and mulled wine all of which served to get us into the spirit. We sang a selection of Christmas songs with great gusto and lots of fun! It was a wonderful way to begin the season and share some of the fun that is Kew Green with the wider community. There were several other local school choirs in attendance. Personally, I think we knocked spots off them! Mr Esthorninho
