We are a co-educational nursery for children aged 2 to 4 years old. Kew Green Nursery is a beautifully spacious environment situated opposite Kew Green, and moments away from Kew Green Preparatory School.
Teaching and Learning
At Kew Green Nursery, we pride ourselves on providing a happy, nurturing and secure environment, where children feel valued, enjoy learning and can flourish.
Our enthusiastic and dedicated teachers offer children a broad and balanced curriculum. At the heart of everything we do is your child’s development in the three prime areas of the Early Years Curriculum;
In addition, and through play based learning, we want the children to foster a love of literacy, mathematical, creative, scientific and technological skills. They are encouraged to develop enquiring minds, to question, reason and make decisions as well as steer their learning through their own interests.
During these early years, we promote excellent social and language skills and encourage all children to become responsible, confident and independent learners, who are excited to learn about the world around us.
Progression to the Prep School
Our Nursery pupils are able to rise automatically to the Reception class at Kew Green Prep and our Head of Early Years, Miss Heaton, supports their transition from the Nursery through to Reception with carefully structured preparation for the move taking place throughout their final year at the Nursery .
